Eating and Relaxing Lavenham Old Rectory

Our chef will prepare a range of gourmet breakfasts using local produce. We will serve breakfast in the morning room or alternatively we can serve you alfresco on the morning terrace with its views of the idyllic formal gardens and the meadow.

The morning room is a great place to relax after breakfast or to read in the evening. Its large Victorian fireplace is now occupied by an open fronted log burner making for a warm and cosy area in the winter.

The large French windows and fanlight ensure that the mood is kept light throughout the day.

So that our guests can enjoy the beautiful grounds this season our chef has created a delicious, mouth-watering afternoon tea menu with home made scones and cakes, dainty smoked salmon/cream cheese and egg mayonnaise sandwiches and of course clotted cream and local preserves.

Your afternoon tea can be served in the morning room or alfresco on the terrace overlooking the Old Rectory gardens which are spectacular in spring time

Afternoon tea is served on Saturday throughout the spring and summer season between 3pm and 4pm at a cost of £15 per guest, pre-booking is necessary
