Lavenham Old Rectoryrooms
The Old Rectory offers luxurious five star hotel accommodation and endeavours to meet your every need. The rooms are named after two famous local artists of the period, Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable whilst the De Vere room is named after John De Vere 13th Earl of Oxford who was a close confidant of Henry VII and a major contributor to the early construction of the church.
You can enjoy the expansive Thomas Gainsborough room with its country decor and triple aspect views of the gardens and the church.
The John Constable room based on the Chinoserie theme of the period with its elegant furnishings and four poster bed is a superb reflection of the opulent living of the time.
The De Vere room is decorated in the provencal style, again a popular theme of the Georgian times, with classically painted furniture.
